I hope you have been enjoying music from these gifted artists. ^_^
Enjoy fellow Voxers
hello and welcome everyone. It has been a while since I have posted music and I am so sorry for the delay. I have been trying to make a schedule for me to do what I have been doing and finally I am getting back on track. The three artists I will showcase for a week or two are Artie Traum, Gerald Albright, and Billy McLaughlin.
Mr. McLaughlin's CD, Inhale Pink is okay. I say that because there are vocals in some of the songs and I would not mind if his vocals were strong but to me, if your vocals are medicore stick to what you do best and his best is playing the acoustic/electric guitar.
Gerald Albright CD, New Beginning is another story. To me this CD is good from beginning to end. I remember seeing him years ago when he toured with Anita Baker and he played the bass as well. Another CD I really enjoy from him is his collaboration with Will Downing.
Artie Traum I heard of him from his CD Meetings with Remarkable Friends, I bought that CD from a flee market for about $3 and have been a fan of his since. When I saw his CD, Acoustic Jazz Guitar on eMusic I had to download the entire CD. I really enjoy his finger picking style of playing. It gives me that "down home" feeling. Makes me feel like am on a southern mansion porch as a nice rain storm rolls in to town.
Thanks again for your patience and I will try and stay on schedule. Be blessed, Be Safe, and enjoy the music from these three artists for the next couple of weeks.
